David Lee Eberlein

David Lee Eberlein, Sr., age 73, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Dave was born in Pigeon on July 10, 1947, to Clayton and LeEtta (Kaufman) Eberlein. He graduated from Sebewaing High School, Class of 1965. He retired from Michigan Sugar Company as a Line Leader. He also was an EMT for Sebewaing Ambulance for over 25 years. Dave was very active in the Sebewaing Lions Club and was a past District Governor. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and collecting stamps.

Dave is survived by his children: David Eberlein, Jr., Chris Eberlein and Aaron Eberlein; siblings: Kurt Eberlein, Judy (Joe) Leyva, John Eberlein and Lynn Jahr; and many nieces and nephews.

Dave is preceded in death by his brother James (Vonnie) Eberlein.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for Friday, April 23, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Bay St, Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to the Leader Dog for the Blind.
