David Elledge

David Junior Elledge, age 63, of Caro, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2009 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. He was born on June 26, 1946 in Piedmont, West Virginia to the late Spencer and Callie Mae (Mills) Elledge. David Elledge and the former Joan Hylton were married on July 9, 1966 in Parisburg, Virginia. He had been employed as a press operator in the automobile industry for many years. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. He will be sadly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Joan; two children, Eva Marie (Larry) Bennett of Deford and Rodney David Elledge of Caro; five grandchildren, Leann Mitchem, Stacie Mitchem, Olivia Kloss, Casey Bennett and Cory Bennett; one great-granddaughter, Jordyn Pinrod; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and one sister. There will be no service or visitation at the Collon Funeral Home. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the David Elledge family discretionary fund, c/o Joan Elledge.
