David Harlon Guilds

David Harlan Guilds, age 74, of Bay Port, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Medilodge of Cass City.

David was born in Cass City on November 2, 1946 to Harlan and Wanda (Clemons) Guilds. After high school, he was drafted into the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged. He was an active member at the Sebewaing American Legion Post #293. David retired as a press operator from Tower Automotive in Sebewaing.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid bowler.

David is survived by his children: Douglas (Peggy) Guilds of Webville, KY and Dawn Guilds of Raceland, KY; grandchildren: David W. (Valarie) Guilds, D.J. (Andrea) Guilds, Morgan Guilds and Kamron Horton; great grandchildren: Natalie, Katie, Soren and Corbin; and ex-wife and friend, Dorothy Spano.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Wanda Guilds; daughter, Denise Mary Guilds; and sister, Shirley Coulter.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be given to the family or the Sebewaing American Legion Post #293.
