Age 78, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his home in Naubinway following a 3-year illness.
He was born July 26, 1936 in Pontiac, son of the late James D. and Viola J. (Mills) Hall.
He was united in marriage to Joyce Millmine on January 8, 1955 in Waterford. She survives him.
Dave had been in maintenance for Woodridge Apartments in Southfield for 19 years before retiring in 2011.
He was a member of the Wisner United Methodist Church
They had lived in Wisner before moving to Naubinway 3 years ago.
He enjoyed working on cars and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce, Naubinway; one daughter-in-law, Helen Eileen Hall,
Wisner; one granddaughter, Amanda Hall, Wisner; 2 sisters, 1 brother, Gerry Griffin, Independence, MO: Laura (Richard) Logan, Clarkston, James Hall, Rochester Hills; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, David John Hall; 2 brothers, Robert Hall, Kenneth Hall, 1 sister, Phyllis Karpovck and half brother, Donald Stevens.
The funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18 at the Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Rev. Jackie Raineri will officiate with burial in the Demorest Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Sebewaing from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at 1:30.
