David Lee Isham, age 70, of Pinnebog, died Wednesday, January 30, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ.
He was born August 19, 1932, to the late Claude and Mini (Shoptaw) Isham in Winchester, IN.
After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving three years during the Korean Conflict.
He then opened a jewerly store, Isham Jewerly, in Detroit.
On October 28, 1961, he was united in marriage to Susan Smith, at Martha Mary Chapel, Greenfield Village, Dearborn.
They lived in Pinnebog area for 32 years, after retiring in 1987, he and his wife, moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Dave was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and an elder at Church of Christ-Oro Grande, AZ.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Susan; three sons, David (Lori) of Owosso, Randy (Jill) of Clinton IA, and Michael (Angela) of Pinnebog; one daughter, Pamela (Michael) Isham-Fry of Port Austin; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 26, at the Pinnebog-Grindstone United Methodist Church, Pinnebog.
