David Edward Luther

David Edward Luther, age 66, of Caro, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born on December 15, 1958, to the late Robert and Jacquelyn (Rose) Luther. David graduated from high school and built a career as an arborist, working in the field for over 30 years. On October 22, 1988, he married Tina Mae Windsor at the Caro United Methodist Church. Together, they shared nearly 34 years of marriage and many special memories until Tina’s passing on August 23, 2022. A skilled woodworker, David crafted beautiful log furniture and took great pride in his work. More than anything, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

David leaves to cherish his memory, his son & his wife, Austin & Brooke Luther; grandchildren, Miranda, Kaden, Orion, and Zachary; siblings & their spouses, Audrey & Mike Behrens, Jacquelyn & Bryan Hall, and Brenda & Scot Severn; sisters-in-law, Joan Luther and Shelly Luther; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, David was preceded in death by his little sister, Lisa Luther and brothers, Lynn Luther, Alan Luther, and Milton Luther.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
