David Jacob Seibel

David Jacob Seibel , age 69, of Gagetown, passed away peacefully in his home on April 30, 2023.

David was born on March 4, 1954, in Colfax Township, to Harold and Elaine (Demo) Seibel. He graduated in 1972 from Owendale-Gagetown High School and did one year of college at Ferris State University. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, restoring vintage tractors, sudoku puzzles, watching TV, watching wildlife in the area and driving around the area on crop tours.

David is survived by his two children: Tiffany (Jim) O'Hare of Sebewaing and Josh (Laura) Seibel of Sebewaing; grandchildren: Katelyn (Cody) Romzek, Jacob (Alexis Cady) O'Hare, Abigail O'Hare, Nicholas O'Hare and Evan Seibel; great grandchildren: Wyatt and Hailey Romzak and Brynnlee Stilson; siblings: Rick Seibel of Sebewaing, Connie Seward of Bay Port and Mike Seibel of Unionville; and many nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Seibel; and brother-in-law, Rich Seward.

Per David's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial service is planned at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery (Bach) at a later date.
