David L. Skelton, age 67, passed away suddenly Monday, July 30, 2007 at Covenant-Cooper in Saginaw. He was born September 23, 1939 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of the late William & Laura (Letterman) Skelton. During most of his adult working life, David was a carpenter and was employed by various companies before he retired. After his retirement, David used his carpentry experience to do odd jobs for people around Caro. When not working, he most enjoyed camping and fishing. David was united in marriage to Brenda Hack on August 3, 1984 in Caro. In addition to his wife, David is survived by four sons, one daughter and their spouses, Chris and Luke Skelton, both of Caro, Davey Skelton of Arizona, Jeff & Laura Skelton of Indiana, Lisa & Jeff Hunter of North Carolina; one step-son, Darrin & Dawn Sleight of Mayville; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Ray & Susie Rusher, Bob & Wanda Pottridge and Wendell Skelton, all of Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews.
