David Edward Terry

David Edward Terry of Caro, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his home, following a lingering illness. He was born August 23, 1951 in Caro, the son of Mary M. "Peggy" (Coleman) Terry and the late Leland B. "Lee" Terry. Dave graduated from Caro High School with the Class of 1970 and was united in marriage with Margot "Micky" Murphy on August 17, 1984. Dave will be best remembered as a loving, good-humored and generous family man - a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing & listening to music, camping, boating and being on the family farm. He'd rarely turn down fresh sweet corn, a chocolate malt, or fudge. Dave was employed as a Resident Care Aide at the Caro Regional Center for twenty-eight years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. Dave is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Micky Terry; his children, David II & Amy Terry, Dawn Anderson-Meier & Dani Meier, Brian & Andrea Sanada, Shannon Sanada; six grandchildren, Samantha Terry, Isaac Terry, Nora Andermeier, Owen Anderson, Madison Anderson, and Ezra Andermeier; his mother, Peggy Terry; his siblings, Boyd & Pauline Terry, Kathryn & Gary Holik, Cynthia & Michael Parker, Marybeth & Chuck Hover; and many nieces and nephews. They will all miss him greatly. In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by his beloved Newfoundland, Webster. In keeping with Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro with Father Dennis Kucharczyk officiating.
