Dawn Dorman

Dawn Dorman of Caro, age 80, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at her home, following a period of declining health. Dawn was born July 5, 1938 in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late William "Jack" and Jenny (Davies) Atwood. She was employed in housekeeping at the Caro Regional Center for over thirty years until her retirement, and then became a familiar face at Lasting Impressions Floral as a delivery person. Dawn was naturally social and loved her pets. In her younger years she had a hobby farm with countless animals. Dawn is survived by five children and their spouses, Tanya Jo Batschke & Bob Eschenbacher of Caro, Tamara Dorman of Caro, Harley Dean & Kristi Dorman, II of Ada, Kelly & Dennis Nye of Pigeon, Kristie & Greg Hutchison of Caro; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Fortin of Canton. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Jack Atwood. In keeping with Dawn's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Elder Sandra Dorman officiating.
