Dawne Coles

Dawne Dianne Coles, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 15, 2011 at her home. Dawne was born October 20, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of the late Leon Jack & Elaine (Nerretter) Hatt. She was united in marriage with William R. Coles on January 25, 1960 in Flint, and the couple has cherished more than fifty-one years together. Dawne was a member of the Otisville Assembly of God Church, and most recently the Caro Assembly of God Church, the Forgotten Man Ministries, Cass River Pet Friendz and the Humane Society. She adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and enjoyed tending to her flower garden, sewing and caring for her cats. Dawne is survived by her loving husband, William R. Coles; three children, Jacqueline Coles of Caro, Roberta Coles of Caro, Thomas Coles and his wife, Tammy, of Merrill; five grandchildren and their spouses, William Richard Coles of Fostoria, Krystal Ileene & Josh Irvine of Saginaw, Tessa Rene & Josh Rohde of Breckenridge, Cody Emiel James & Ruth Lotter currently serving in Iraq, Janae Dawne Coles of Merrill; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Coles of Breckenridge, Seth Rohde of Breckenridge, Zachary Irvine of Saginaw, and an additional grandchild on the way yet to be named; one brother, Leon Lyle Hatt of Caro; and many nieces and nephews. Dawne was preceded in death by one daughter, Vickie Lynn Coles; one grandson, Daniel Arthur Taylor; and one brother, Wendell Warren Hatt.
