Dean Adam Mccreedy

Dean Adam McCreedy, age 73, of Pigeon, passed away July 2, 2023 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township.

Dean was born May 14, 1950, to Robert A. McCreedy and Loretta A. McCreedy (Carpenter). After graduating from Owengage High School, he joined the United States Navy and then the Reserves. When he returned home from the Navy, he worked for Active/Tower Automotive, part time during campaign for Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing and then for Men's Wearhouse doing deliveries. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Dean is survived by his 2 daughters: Melissa (Barry Stone) McCreedy and Stacy (Lucas) Gross; grandchildren: Logan and Freya McCreedy and Kira Gross; sister, Jane Wilkins; brother, Keith (Beverly) McCreedy and many nieces and nephews.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents.

Per Dean's wishes, cremation has been handled by Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Burial of his remains will take place later in July.
