Deanna Marie Lung-Gabler, age 49, of Caro, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 23, 1961 in Caro. After graduation from high school, she received her Bachelors in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University. On July 12, 2008 she was united in marriage to Robert Gabler. Deanna was employed as a registered social worker at Human Development Commission in Caro. She enjoyed boating, fishing, NASCAR, and her family. Deanna was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Caseville and the Caro Women of the Moose. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Gabler; one daughter, Desiree Parrent of Caro; her father, Jerry Walker of Caro; two sisters, Debra (Rick) Lipan of Caro and Denise (Kim) Kitchen of Richville; three brothers; Wayne Walker of Lansing, Louis (Julie) Lung, Jr. of Rogers City and Scott Lung of Millersburg; several nieces and nephews; and a grand dog, Harley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Flansburgh Walker, her father, Louis Lung; and a brother, Brad Lane Walker. A funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Deanna Lung-Gabler family discretionary fund, c/o Robert Gabler, 302 S.
