Delores A. Cybulski

Delores A. Cybulski of Caro, age 85, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Marlette Regional Hospital. Delores was born September 12, 1939 in Caro, the daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Newton) Johnson. Delores attended Caro High School and graduated with the class of 1958. On October 16, 1971, Delores married James T. Cybulski and the couple shared over fifty-three wonderful years of marriage. She worked in the salary office of Saginaw Steering Gear for thirty-two years, retiring in 1996 after a dedicated career. In her free time, Delores cherished life’s simple pleasures. She was a dedicated gardener, taking great pride in caring for the beautiful flowers that filled her yard. Whether solving crossword puzzles or sharing laughter over a game of cards with friends and family, Delores knew how to enjoy the moment. She was always ready for a camping adventure and took great joy in traveling. She proudly visited all fifty states, creating a lifetime of treasured memories along the way.

Left to cherish Delores’ memory are her husband, James T. Cybulski; daughter, Deanna Thomas; son, Kyle (Bridget) Cybulski; grandson, Thomas (Ashley) LaJoie; six great-grandchildren, Melissa LaJoie, Matthew LaJoie, Garrett LaJoie, Julia LaJoie, Michael LaJoie, and Ethan Thomas; brother, Frank Johnson, Jr.; brother-in-law, Ronald Cybulski; sister-in-law, Bonnie Cybulski; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her son, Donald LaJoie, Jr.; grandsons, Aaron Thomas and Ryan LaJoie; brother, Robert Johnson; mother- and father-in-law, Steve & Marie (Hartley) Cybulski; sister and brothers-in-law, Mary Jane & Chuck Phillips, Sr. and Thomas Cybulski; sister-in-law, Betty Johnson; and a nephew, Chuck Phillips, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Wahjamega Cemetery in Caro. Delores’ family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
