Deloris Faye Becker

DELORIS F. BECKER AKRON Deloris F. Becker of Akron, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. She was born April 18, 1926 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Frank and Ann (Tarbaux) Campbell. As a child, Deloris moved to Michigan and eventually to Caro where she first married Clayton Rondo and then Victor Becker, both of whom preceded her in death. Deloris was a Caro High School graduate, and then trained as a Licensed Practical Attendant Nurse and used that training to work for over thirty years at the Caro Regional Center. Deloris was a member of the Fairgrove V.F.W. Auxiliary and was a founding member of New Hope Ministries in Akron. She enjoyed singing, writing, cooking, and writing poetry. Deloris is survived by three children, Charles & Erlinda Rondo of Caro, Victor Becker of Caro, Kelly & Ron Smith of Waterford; eight grandchildren, Robert & Kathleen Rondo of Caro, Toni & Mike James of Caro, Faith & Marty Brown of Fairgrove, Cameron & Erica Becker of Bad Axe, Derrick Becker of Caro, Katie Becker of Caro, James Smith of Waterford and Travis Smith of Waterford; eleven great- grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Dominic, Emma, Kayla, Izak, Leilani, Ethan, Miley, Teagan and Peyton; one sister, Iris "Choppy" Muska of Caro; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and spouses, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Rondo and Bill Becker; and two brothers and their spouses, Orville "Bud" & Alice Campbell, Robert & Betsie Campbell. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Living Waters Chapel in Caro with Rev. James Fader officiating. In keeping with Deloris' wishes, cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to New Hope Ministries of Akron.
