Denise Pomaville

Denise Anne Pomaville, age 52, of Caro, passed away on October 10, 2009 at Covenant-Cooper in Saginaw. She was born on November 27, 1956 in Detroit to the late Bernard and Loretta (Trombley) Pomaville. Denise was born and raised in the Detroit area and moved first to Reed City where she graduated from high school. She went to work for the State of Michigan as a Fire and Safety Officer and transferred to Caro where she currently worked at the Caro Center. Denise was a huge Detroit Tiger baseball fan and loved to play cards. Her life was her work, her friends, and for some time, gardening. She is survived by five siblings, Janice Pomaville of Davenport, Florida, Carol (Allen) Kostowney of Roseville, Richard Pomaville of St. Clair Shores, Loretta (Dennis) David of Novi and David (Cindy) Pomaville of Eastpointe; several nieces and nephews; and her very good friend, Ann LeFevre, also of Caro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rosemary Pomaville. Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no services at the Collon Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Tuscola County Humane Society.
