(Words With Wings) Your loving wife, Mrs. Lowary Ann Barrett Dennis Keith Barrett was born April 30, 1958 in Detroit. He attended Detroit College of Business where he excelled in math. Dennis met his current wife, Mrs. Lowary Ann Barrett, in 1981 and they were married on April 27, 1987, until his death on March 20, 2023 at 9:27 a.m. when he was called home. Dennis loved fishing, riding motorcycles, barbecuing, and listening to jazz music. Working on cars was one of his hobbies, as well as playing chess and PS4 video games. He was an excellent cook. Dennis loved to surprise his wife with small gifts and loved to make her laugh. He had an outstanding memory and could tell you all the names of childhood friends and schoolmates, as well as all of his teachers' names. He loved reminding his wife about their second date when they went to the state fair and a clown squirted water from a flower he was wearing, not once, but twice. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mrs. Lowary Ann Barrett; one son, Dennis Barrett; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Skye Barrett and Isiah Barrett; three sisters, Ms. Karen Rogers, Ms. Sheree Barrett, and Ms. Darlene Lattimore; three brothers, Mr. Michael B. Barrett, Mr. Kenneth Barrett, and Mr. Lamont Barrett; mother-in-law, Mrs. Doris Jean Vinson; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Carol (Anthony) Earle, Mrs. Doris Jeanette (Steve) Foster; three brothers-in-law, Mr. James Mullins, Mr. Henry Mullins, and Mr. Lewis Mullins; one aunt, Ms. Dorothy Payne; three special pets, Pepper (German Shepherd), Tiger and Coco (Shih Tzus); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean (Davis) Barrett; and one brother, Tracey Barrett. In keeping with Dennis' wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
