Dennis Connell

Dennis B. Connell, age 50, of Caro, died on Friday, July 27, 2007 in Saginaw. Dennis was born on April 7, 1957 in Caro to Mary (Kish) Connell and the late R. Cameron Connell, and was a lifelong resident of Tuscola County. He was a graduate of Vassar High School. On September 24, 1988 Dennis was united in marriage to Theresa Okony in Vassar. He was employed, until his retirement after 28 years, at the Caro Center as an attendant nurse and a trained EMT. Dennis was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Caro Knights of Columbus #3224. He enjoyed being with his family and was the “Candyman” to his granddaughter. As an outdoors kind of guy, he was involved in fishing, camping, golf and traveling. Dennis also enjoyed his home, decorating for holidays, grilling and gardening. He was a fan of the Detroit Tigers. Dennis enjoyed oldies and classic rock-n-roll, especially listening to his “brothers” Tom “Stosh” and Robert Okony.
