Dennis "Jughead" E. Reames

Dennis E. Reames "Jughead", age 74, of Unionville, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Dennis was born July 29, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee to Wilson and Oletha (Canada) Reames. After graduating from high school, Dennis was drafted into the United States Air Force. Dennis worked for General Motors, was a part-time farmer and was a car salesman for Gettel's and Thompson Chevrolet dealerships. He enjoyed his convertible Chevrolet Camaro, snowmobiling, deer hunting, camping, boating and had the gift to gab. He served as a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kay; children: Lisa (Bob) Greenia of Reese and Chris Reames of Unionville; grandchildren: Regan Greenia, Eathon Greenia and Morgan Reames; great grandson, Wesley Wiess; siblings: Claudia (Robert) Pitts, Marcia (Stanley) Waszkiewicz, Douglas (Gloria) Reames, Curtis (Pamela) Reames and Steven Reames; and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Paula Swan.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements handled by Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home.
