Dennis David Trisch

Dennis David Trisch of Caro, age 62, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his home. Dennis was born October 20, 1951 on the same homestead where he was to pass away, the son of the late Lloyd and Leona (Gazafe) Trisch, and went on to graduate from Caro High School with the class of 1970. He was united in marriage with the former Naomi Losee on October 16, 1971 at the Fairgrove Nazarene Church, and she survives him. Dennis earned a degree in accounting before graduating from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois where he earned a pastoral degree in ministry. While attending college, Dennis worked for Allis Chalmers in Madison Heights, Illinois manufacturing fork lift parts from 1972 to 1986. Upon his return to Caro, he went to work with his father and brothers, Roger and Wayne, at Trisch Septic and Tuscola County Vault Company, as well as on the family orchard. Dennis took over ownership of the vault company in 1987 and continued to own and operate it until his death. Dennis was a very active member of the Colling Nazarene Church and was instrumental in the building of its parsonage, was a church leader and board member. He was also a member of the Manteno Nazarene Church in Illinois and helped with its original construction. Dennis will be remembered as a dedicated family man that was committed to helping anyone in need. He enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline, watching movies, especially old-westerns, hunting and fishing. Dennis is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Naomi; two daughters, Tracy & Shane Wachowicz of Caro, Rebecca Trisch of Caro; three grandchildren, Ashley, Madison and Emily Wachowicz; his siblings, Beverly Leipprandt of Midland, Sharon Trisch of Bay city, Wayne & Kathy Trisch of Caro, Gloria & Wesley O'Dell of Mayville, Rosemary & Victor Matuszak of Caro, Gene & Harriet Trisch of Caro, Roger & Linda Trisch of Caro; brothers-in-law, Dan & Sherry Losee of Texas, Fred & Julie Losee of Caro, Phillip & Chris Losee of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his step-mother, Ruth Trisch; one niece, Christina Groombridge; and one nephew, Charlie Trisch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Ellington Church of the Nazarene in Caro with Rev. Jerry Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at the Ellington Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Trisch Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Naomi Trisch, 205 W.
