Derrick E. Rasch, age 49, of Unionville, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2016.
Derrick was born in Saginaw on July 10, 1967, son of Larry Rasch and Connie (Ainsworth) Doxey. He married Barbara Neumann on November 10, 1990. He owned and operated GEM Installation and GEM Forestry. Derrick was a jack of all trades, enjoyed collecting vintage snowmobiles, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, watching snowcross and supercross. He enjoyed being with his family, staying active and was always willing to help anyone at any time. He was an active board member at Colling Church of the Nazarene.
Derrick is survived by his wife, Barbara; children: Samantha (friend Marty Gehrls) and Landon; parents: Larry Rasch and Connie (Rolland) Doxey; two sisters: Tracy (Roger) Rochefort and Julie (Bill) Little; mother and father-in-law: Harlon and Sandy Neumann.
Visitation will be Friday, October 21, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-9pm.
The funeral service will be Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Colling Church of the Nazarene, 5061 Colling Rd (@Dickerson), Unionville. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will be at Demorest Cemetery in Akron Twp.
Memorial donations may be given to Colling Church of the Nazarene or Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum in Naubinway, MI (c/o Charlie and Marilyn Vallier)
