Diana Rae Hutchinson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Rae Hutchinson, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 77 on the evening of Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her home in Caro. Diana was born on July 9, 1947, in Thompson, Illinois, to Roland Beyers and Elizabeth Beyers-Shibley.

After graduating from Mt. Carroll High School, Diana eventually made her way to Caro, Michigan, where she worked for Marshell Distributing, Inc., and later for Walbro Corporation/TI Automotive in aftermarket sales, retiring after a fulfilling career. Diana and her beloved husband Bruce shared twenty-seven happy years of marriage.

Diana found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved getting lost in a good book, birdwatching in her beautiful garden, and taking daily walks with her dog, Bailey. She treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed vacations with her doting husband, indulging in sweet treats at Cops and Donuts in Clare, and dragging Bruce along to the Amish store.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. Diana is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce; her sons, Alec (Kelly) Mis, Eric (Jeanette) Mis, and Michael (Rachel) Mis; grandchildren, Lucas, Dylan, Liam, Shauna (Nate), Katie, Lexxus (Damon), and Evan; great-grandchildren, Aubree and Madison; cousin, Marie Freeman; sister, Pamela (Jack) Berg; and dear friends, Sue (Randy) LaFave, Marilyn Bell, and Mary Turnbaugh.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Elizabeth with Compassus for the compassionate care and support she provided during Diana’s final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at the Tuscola County Fairgrounds Midway Hall, located at 188 Park Drive, Caro, Michigan 48723, across from the sugar factory. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution to their local Toys for Tots in honor of Diana.
