Diane J. Dusute of Caro, age 63, passed away at her little log home in the woods on Thursday, August 4, 2016 with her family and friends in mind. Diane was born April 10, 1953 in Bay City, the daughter of the late James & Alice (Carve) McRae. Diane was a graduate of Akron Fairgrove High School, and was employed as a secretary for Midwest Rotary until it closed. The former Diane McRae married Brian Dusute on October 26, 1991 in Millington. She enjoyed reading her bible and participated in the Sacred Heart Bible study group, as well as being an active member of the Wahjamega Country Church. In addition, she served for a period of time as secretary to the Right to Life. Diane loved NASCAR and had been spotter and lap counter for her husband's racing. She helped many of her special friends as they faced life's challenges. She is survived by her husband, Brian; two sons and their wives, Brian & Cindy SoBeck of Three Rivers, Chris & Stacey SoBeck of Vassar; grandchildren, Travis & Chelsie SoBeck of Birch Run, Nick, Raylee and Brently SoBeck of Vassar; her siblings, June & Ed Schutt of Elkton, Jenny Sabo of Fairgrove, Pam and Randy Katzinger of Unionville; several nieces, nephews, and many special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill McRae. In keeping with Diane's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Wahjamega Country Church with Pastor Phil Parkin officiating.
