Diane K. Steff

Diane K. Steff of Caro, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her home, with her family by her side. Diane was born May 23, 1946 in Hamtramck, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Kowaleski) Krukowski. Diane graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in Detroit and went on to obtain her Associate of Business degree at Great Lakes Junior College. She was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Church, St. Christopher Parish, the U.S.O, Pieces in a Basket, Women's Life, and several other organizations. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and above all, time spent with her grandchildren. Diane never met a stranger and was loved by many who will miss her dearly. Diane leaves to cherish her memory her children, Leslieanne Steff (Eric McGrath), Carl (Mindy) Steff, and Anthony (Christina) Steff; grandchildren, Lorna (Kensie), Mack, Rayne, Carl Robert Steff, Marcus, Jasmine, Gabby, and Selene; great-grandchildren, "Little" Mack, Cylis, and Conrad; siblings, Phillip (Cathy) Krukowski and Patricia Krukowski; sister-in-law, Karen Krukowski; several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Krukowski. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro with Rev. T.J. Fleming officiating. In keeping with Diane's wishes, cremation will follow the service. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. Mass.
