Diane Carol Watson, age 72, of Caseville, died October 2, 2010 at her home.
Diane was born May 20, 1938 in Chicago to the late Benjamin and Albertine (Kleinschmidt) Glidden. She spent her youth in Kansas City until moving to Caseville in 1954. She graduated from Bay Port High School in 1956 then attended Central Michigan University. She married John Dale Watson on May 2, 1981 at the Caseville United Methodist Church. John preceded her in death on June 28, 2007.
Since 1975 Diane worked at Evenheat Kiln in Caseville. Together with John she was very active in the business until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary, Caseville United Methodist Church and a former member of the Caseville School Board of Education. Diane loved Caseville and it showed in her spirit of giving and support. She loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, doll making and other creative activities. Most of all she loved to cook and would not pass up an opportunity to make anyone's favorite dish. Diane's presence will be sorely missed.
