Dolores J. (Kanyak) Ovcen

Delores Joan Ovcen (nee Kanyak), of Caseville, went home to be with the Lord early Monday, September 27, 2004 in Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.
She was born September 17, 1932 in Vassar to the late Mike and
Erma (Watts) Kanyak. On June 7, 1961, she was united in marriage to Nick Ovcen in Pigeon.

Surviving are her husband, Nick and her family, son, Randy Ovcen and his wife Gwen, of Palm Beach, FL, grandson Nathan Ovcen, wife Tania and great-grandson, Trenton of Wellington, FL, grandson, Aaron Ovcen, wife Janet and great-grandson Hunter of West Palm Beach, FL,and grandson, Brett Ovcen of Hollywood, FL, son, Mark Ovcen, grandson Zackary and friend Debra Lodston of Elkton, son, Todd Ovcen and fiance Sandra Taylor of Grand Rapids;; her sister, Marilyn Renn and husband Harry of
Elkton, two brothers Junior Kanyak and wife Elna-Mae of Fenton and Don Kanyak and wife, Sylvia of Caseville; and many nieces and nephews.
Delores asked that her remains be cremated and her cremated remains be
preserved until her husband's passing.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 6718 Prospect St., Caseville with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating. Memorials may be given to her church.
