Donald Henry Born

Donald H. Born, 89, of Elkton, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Rose Garden Assisted Living in Elkton.

Don was born April 23, 1935 in Colfax Twp to the late Henry and Mabel (Damm) Born.  In 1954 he graduated from Pigeon High School.  He served in the US Army.  On June 17, 1972 he married Vicki Lukasiak at the Elkton Methodist Church.

Don enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hunting, and crossword puzzles.  His pride and joy were his grandchildren.  Don was a devoted member of the Elkton Lions and Community Wesleyan Church.

Don is survived by his wife Vicki; children Alan (Romanita), Deborah Neu, Jim (Linda), and Shelly Roberts; grandchildren Jaimie, Kari, Stephanie, Christopher, Mike, Tim, Kody, Kaden, and Karrah; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Arlen (Marilyn) and Randy (Terri); and sisters Janice (Rick) Bradley and Renee (Tim) Biskupski.  He was preceded in death by brother Gerry.

A memorial service will be 11:00am Saturday, March 22nd at the Community Wesleyan Church in Elkton with Rev. Ean Green officiating.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
