Donald "Don" Keith Moore

Donald “Don” Keith Moore of Caro, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Covenant Harrison in Saginaw. He was born March 6, 1936 in Plainwell, the son of the late Manville Michael and Destimona Luella (Perkins) Moore. Don married the love of his life, the former Alice Griffie, on October 6, 1956. Their marriage was blessed with seventy years, five beautiful children, and countless memories.

Don worked a variety of jobs throughout his life, including as a security guard for Motorola, a welder, and a farmer on the family land. He loved fishing and especially treasured camping trips with his family across the Straits. More than anything, Don cherished time spent with those he loved and would do anything for his family, they were truly his whole world. He will always be remembered for his kindness and warmth he brought to everyone around him. Don was a truly wonderful and sweet man that loved with his whole heart, he will be missed dearly.

Don leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Alice; children, Victoria Lee (Michael) Maguire of Caro, Elizabeth Ann (Stanley) Mooney of Ozark, Arkansas, and Melissa Kay Snyder of Caro; grandchildren, Michael Schultz of Clarkston, Michelle Caringi of Sandusky, Sarah Snyder of Caro, Stephanie Teer of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Hannah Snyder of Caro; four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his children, Robin Lynn Moore and Donald Keith Moore, Jr. and son-in-law, Syd Snyder.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
