Donald "Booty" E. Parsell

Donald E. "Booty" Parsell, Jr., age 78, of Sebewaing, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at McLaren Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City.

Donald was born November, 12, 1937, in Decker, to the late Donald and Margaret (Figurskey) Parsell. He married Clarene L. Koehler of July 30, 1960, at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling up north to Black Lake, spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren, helping with building projects and golfing. He retired from Sebewaing Tool and Engineering after 44 years.

Donald is survived by his wife, Clarene of Sebewaing; children: Tracy McLeod of Sebewaing and Troy (Rosa) Parsell of Macomb Twp.; grandchildren: Nicole (Kevin) Keyes, Justin Welchner, Ryan (Anna) Welchner, Danielle (Wyatt) Martinez, Emily Parsell and Grace Parsell; 9 great grandchildren; Sister, Carol Ann (Larry) Graham of Otter Lake; sister-in-law, Margaret Parsell of Lapeer; and many nieces and nephews.

Donald is preceded in death by brother, Richard Parsell.

Visitation is Friday, March 25, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 2-8pm.

The funeral service is Saturday, March 26, 2016, at New Salem Lutheran Church. Visitation begins at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place privately following the service at the church cemetery.
