Donald Everett Hydorn Sr

Donald E. Hydorn Sr., 88, of Caseville, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at home under hospice care.

Don was born February 3, 1932 in Detroit to the late Harvey and Gladys (Howey) Hydorn. He served in the US Army for 21 years, retiring in 1970 as a Master Sergeant. After the service he worked 20 years as a police officer. He worked for Caseville Police and was police chief in Elkton and Fairhaven Twp.

Don is survived by his wife Lisa; son Donald Jr. (Hanna) of Lansing; granddaughter Lilyanna; and sister Judith Pariseau of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Watson.

A celebration of his life will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 4th at his home. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
