Donald M. Kanyak Jr.

Donald Mitchell Kanyak Jr, 60, of Caseville and Harrison, TN, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2015 in Tennessee with his family and his special angel and care giver sister Marie at his side, after a bout with cancer.

Don was born December 2, 1954 in Pigeon to the late Donald Mitchell Kanyak Sr and Sylvia (Cilc) Kanyak. Don spent his life in the tool and die trade. He last worked for Gestamp of Chattanooga, TN, where he left behind a special family of friends. He loved deer hunting and guns. He enjoyed spending time at the hunting shack with his brother and friend Tony Sr.

He is survived by his loving mother Sylvia (Cilc) Kanyak; children Misty Kanyak Auschwitz of Henderson, NV and Eric Kanyak and special friend Danielle of Cass City; brother and sisters Cindy of Calumet, Tony Sr of Caseville, Judy of Blue Ridge,GA, Marie of Blue Ridge,GA, Mary Ann "Bebo" of Caseville and Steve (Nicole Collins) of Caseville; grandchildren Jason, Dylan and Hunter Auschwitz and Harper Kanyak; nieces and nephews Shawn, BJ, Kelly, Bryon, Tony Jr, Darien, Shad, Laci and Takoda.

He was proceeded in death by his brother Kenny in 2004, and his father Don Sr in 2011.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Saturday February 14th at Calvary Baptist Church in Caseville with Rev. Mike Goforth officiating, followed by a luncheon at the fellowship hall. There will be a private family interment. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the local arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the St Jude Children's Hospital or Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.
