Donald Majask

Donald Majask of Caro, age 87, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Satchell's Christian Home in Caro. Don was born September 30, 1934 in Kingston, the son of the late Peter and Mary (Snurka) Majask. He was united in marriage with Alicia Pastor on June 18, 2005, and she survives. Don was DPW manager in Reese for twenty-nine years and did Orkin spraying to help farmers in the area. Don thoroughly enjoyed his twice daily trips to the "round table" at McDonalds. He loved his Woodmizer sawmill and showing off all the cookies he cut. He also liked a comfortable pair of bib overalls, polka music, and was an excellent problem solver. In addition to his wife, Alicia, he is survived by five step-daughters and their spouses, Jeanette & Clair Letson-Dotzler of Tucson, Arizona, Jackie & Roger Louks of Caro, Diana Pastor of Ubly, Sue & Marc Summersett of Tucson, Arizona, Patty & Jeff O'Dell of Caro; nine step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one brother and wife, Ed & Wendy Majask of Saginaw; one niece, Michelle; and one nephew, Peter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice. Funeral services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 with Rev. Dr. William Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro with military honors afforded by the Caro VFW Post #4164 and the U.S. Army. The family will be present to receive family and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
