Donald Mclean

Donald Duane McLean, age 61, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 at his home. Don was born February 2, 1947 in Detroit, the son of Donald Gordon & Margaret Mary (Souder) McLean. Don served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his discharge from the army, he began his career with the Chrysler Corporation at the Sterling Stamping Plant in Sterling Heights, until his medical retirement. Don moved to the Marlette area to live in 2000, coming from Clinton Township. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and working in his yard. Don is survived by two sons, Richard D. and his wife, Sherry McLean of Spring Hills, Florida, Shawn G. McLean of Columbus, Michigan; three grandchildren, Taylor McLean and Jessica Garcia both living in Florida, Summer Rose McLean of Columbus, Michigan; and his mother, Margaret Mary Pierowich of New Baltimore, Michigan. Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald McLean on July 5, 1995.
