Donald Theron Parsell

Donald Theron Parsell of Cass City, age 65, went to be with the "Good Lord Jesus" on Sunday, February 2, 2020 in Cass City. Don was born December 3, 1954 in Cass City, the son of the late Franklin and Berneice (Perry) Parsell and attended the Parsell Country School and Akron-Fairgrove School. He had been employed with Brown Dairy Equipment and Thumb Industries. Don was a member of the Boy Scouts of American, 4-H, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. He loved church, enjoyed attending numerous churches, and attended Flash Point in Bad Axe. Don had many hobbies including, crafting with wood, leather and metal, and making and distributing crosses. He also enjoyed his four-wheeler, fishing, camping with family, and volunteering one day a week at Bay Shore Camp in Sebewaing. Don is survived by his siblings, Judith Ann Lemire of New Hudson, Richard & Barb Parsell of Caro, Dean Parsell of Caro, Bob & Bev Parsell of Caro; sister-in-law, Patricia Parsell of Caro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by one brother, James G. Parsell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating. Burial will follow at the Almer Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro.
