Donald Frank Putman

Donald Frank Putman, age 77, of St. Charles, formerly of Sebewaing, passed away at his home February 26, 2025.

Don was born on March 2, 1947 to Frank and Beulah Putman. He graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1965. He then attended Michigan Tech University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He joined the United States Army during Vietnam Era and helped design roads. He worked as a Civil Engineer for Saginaw Asphalt Company where he retired. In his free time, Don liked working "quality control" for road crews and stopping in many construction zones to give his expertise. He also enjoyed crop touring and stopping to talk to local farmers. Don collected many different items, but especially enjoyed treasures found on the side of the road along with coin collecting. He loved going out to dinner with his friends and watching old movies.

Don is survived by a few cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be Friday, February 28, 2025 at Grant Township Cemetery (Bach Road), just outside of Gagetown, at 2pm with at short prayer service.
