Donald Ray Schuette, 75, of Elkton, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Donald was born December 27, 1942 in Bad Axe to the late Walter and Alma (Voss) Schuette. He married Saundra Kay Hahn on July 30, 1966 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville.

Don enjoyed each and every day watching his sons, grandchildren and nephews carry on the family tradition started by his father Walter Schuette.
Don had a zest for life and people. Kay and Don loved living their lives and doing community in the Thumb, participating in countless parades and tours to see Christmas lights. Don enjoyed donating his time serving the town of Elkton during the Autumnfest and assisting at the Huron Community Fair. Don was an avid sports fan, and Nascar blaring on the TV was a trademark of the Schuette household. Don was a lifelong member of Cross Lutheran Church and supporter of the Laker FFA.
