Donald Turner

Donald Richard Turner, Sr., age 76, of Caro, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 19, 1934 in Detroit to the late George and Helen (Warren) Turner. Donald enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 16 and served until he got caught. Mr. Turner married the former Fay Yvonne Wysocki on October 25, 1952 in Hazel Park. She preceded him in death on August 19, 1982. Donald graduated from Caro High School and attended Delta College. He was employed at Jered Industries until his retirement. From 1976 until 1982 he was the owner and operator of the Richville Party Store. In 1984 he married the former Patricia Ann Rasmussen, and she survives him. Most recently he was employed as a welding instructor at the Tuscola Technology Center. He loved his boat and fishing, enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, chess, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; seven daughters and two sons, Marie (Bill) Dodge of St. Helen, Donna J. Love of Sheridan, Wyoming, Letha (Donald) Holden of Warren, Patricia (Lawrence) Pittman of Mayville, Donald R. (Melanie) Turner, Jr. of Au Gres, Linda (Michael) Seabright of Caro, Jacqueline D. Turner of Saginaw, Ann K. Nast of Columbia, Tennessee, Michael L. Nast and fianc
