Donald Zyrowski

Donald Paul Zyrowski, age 47 years, of Mayville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Caro Community Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1961 in Marlette to John Zyrowski and the late June (Dawson) Zyrowski. Don grew up in Kingston and attended Kingston High School. Although he lived most of his life in the area, his job took him to numerous locations. Throughout his working life, Don was a heavy equipment operator, working in the demolition field. He enjoyed his dogs and his classic Camaro. Don was a member of the Catholic faith and the Operating Engineers Union. He is survived by one daughter, Victoria Hollenbeck of Davison; his father, John Zyrowski of Kingston; his siblings, David (Pamela) Zyrowski of Caro, Danny (Gert) Zyrowski of North Branch, Cheryl (Larry) Mayday of Bay City and Diane (Jim) Schmaltz of Metamora; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Liturgy will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wilmot on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will take place with burial following in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Michaels Catholic Church.
