Donna Winnifred Gall

Donna Winnifred Gall, 73, of Sand Point, died at home on the morning of August 9, 2011 while under hospice care.

Donna was born January 18, 1938 to the late Ernest and Winnifred (McPherson) Masters. She was the 5th of 6 children born in Memphis, Michigan on the family farm located on Masters Rd. She attended Memphis High School, graduating and marrying in June of 1956.

Donna was many things to many people and had a love for life that she deeply cherished as she demonstrated how to live life with grace, appreciation, purpose and caring. Her life was well lived and the reward for the gifts she gave us, she awaits our arrival with our Dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Donna was a Woman of the Moose Labelle, FL. Chapter of the “Loyal Order of Moose” Moose Legion, The Family Fraternity, American Legion, and Caseville FOE Auxiliary.
Mom said, “She wanted to thank her children for being born to her as she is so proud of them.”

She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Peter Leon; her beloved children Barbara, Peter, Scott, and Timothy; her six cherished grandchildren: Jessica (Peter), James (Peter), Elizabeth (Barbara), Mitchell (Barbara), Meghan (Scott), and Madison (Scott); sister Annabelle Drury and brother Ernest Lee Masters.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Friday, August 12th at St. Roch Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Kenockee Cemetery in Emmett.

Visitation will be 3 to 7 pm Thursday at St. Roch Catholic Church and one hour prior to mass on Friday. There will be an Eagles Auxiliary Ritual at 6pm Thursday at the church.
