Donna R Haley

Donna Rae Haley age 73 of Sand Point died Saturday morning, October 1, at her home while under hospice care.

She was born November 24, 1946 in Ashland, KY and moved to the Detroit area in her youth with her parents the late Kenneth and Doris (Rydel) Wellman.

Donna and Royce Haley were united in marriage in 1979 in Ortonville. They moved to Sand Point where they would spend their summers and after retiring, they would spend their winters in Florida. Royce preceded her in death in 2002.

Donna was an excellent cook and baker, she enjoyed sewing, shopping, travel and entertaining. She was a very giving and caring person, and always willing to share what she had.

Surviving are two daughters, Penny (Mark) Langkil of Naples, FL and Pam (Damon) Warden of Ortonville; four grandchildren, Mark, Michelle, Rachel and Dalton; two great grandchildren; her brother, Ray (Yvonne) Paquin of Livonia and her sister, Debra Bechard of Laquinta, CA. nieces and nephew. She shared the last chapter of her life with her best friend, companion Kurt McKenzie.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Denise Paquin.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services at this time. A memorial service is being planned for at a later date.
