Donna M. Hanson

Donna M. Hanson age 75, of Bad Axe died Friday morning, January 21,surrounded by her family at St. Mary's Medical Center, Saginaw after a long illness.
She was born October 30, 1935, in Lake Twp at the home of her parents the late Norman and Violet (Stirrett) Musselman, grew up in Lake Twp, attended Elkton School and has lived in Huron County most of her life.
Donna loved taking her children out on nature walks, showing them all the sights and sounds that were alive in the woods in the area. She enjoyed being with family, was an excellent cook and baker, played piano, loved to travel and was a very talented painter.

Surviving are two children, James Hanson of Filion and LaDona (Larry) Carder of Fort Gratiot; a grandson, Shane (Sheri) Hulbert of Fort Gratiot; two great grandchildren, Dakota and Jordan and her sister, Barb Cielinski of Arizona and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Richard; a brother, Andy Musselman and a sister, Marie Sageman preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday, January 28 at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 3:00 PM until the time of services.
