Donna O. Hartman, age 70, of Akron, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, in the comfort of her own home.
Donna was born August 9, 1944, in Sebewaing, to the late Robert and Mildred (Carr) Nutt. She married Roy Hartman February 4, 1962, in Akron, MI. She was a huge supporter of her daughters Relay for Life Team, Perky Sisters. She enjoyed cooking, canning, baking, and is known for her homemade fudge. She loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; eleven children: Bob Hartman, Ray (Lisa) Hartman, Dawn Guthrie, Mary (Mike) Haske, Tom (Marsha) Hartman, Scott (Dawn) Hartman, Sandy (Jeff) Dillon, Rich (Lori) Hartman, Randy (Sarah) Hartman, Tim (Tabitha) Hartman and Laura (Ed) Shrontz; two sisters: Kay Lacko and Teddy Pyke; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; special niece, Vicky Story; special nephew, Dale Hartman; special family friends: Jesse Ruiz and Rodney Schmitt.
Preceded in death by her parents; sons-in-law: Frank Karle, Paul Guthrie; siblings: Vivian Limberger, Bonnie Fuerst, Betty Zuchnik, Ron Nutt, Bob Nutt, Ken Nutt, Ella Glann, Ginny Hartman, Buddy Nutt, Marty Karg, Ruth Graves and Pat May.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm.
The funeral service will be Monday, February 16, 2015, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will be at Demorest Cemetery in Akron.
Memorial donations may be given to the family.
