Donna Lee Uhl

Donna Lee Uhl of Caro, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her home. Donna was born September 28, 1954 in Bay City, the daughter of the late Charles & Helen (Sattler) Boyle. She graduated from USA schools with the Class of 1973. On November 4, 1974, Donna was united in marriage with Lynn Nelson Uhl at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Unionville, and he preceded her in death January 31, 2003. For many years, Donna was employed at Big Boy where worked in several positions prior to her staying at home and being a baby-sitting grandma to spoil her grandchildren. She enjoyed the time spent with family and working on various craft projects. Donna is survived by her two children, Jody Nelson and Shaun Uhl (Sarah Young), both of Caro; six grandchildren, Nyla, Bralynn, Brevin and Bronson Nelson, Kane and Tatum Uhl: one great-granddaughter, Ruby Uhl; three siblings, Susan LaPratt of Unionville, Helen Hall of Wisner and Charles Boyle (Becky Hamby) of Wisner. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Jalen Nelson; and three siblings, Valerie Chappell, Bill and Fred Boyle. Private family services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro and a memorial gathering will be held at a future date when restrictions have been lifted. Burial will be in Demorest Cemetery.
