Dora M. Shaw, age 80, of Elkton, died Monday morning, October 31, at Covenant Cooper, Saginaw.
She was born February 23, 1925, in Bad Axe to the late Russell and Margaret (Durr) Richards.
Dora grew up in the Bad Axe area; she had been employed at Hammel Manufacturing in Bad Axe for over 15 years be for moving to the Lansing area. She lived there several years and then lived in Honor Michigan near her son, Bruce for seven years and returned to the Elkton last year.
She was a past member of the Chandler Presbyterian Church and enjoyed cooking, garage sailing bargain hunting and gardening.
Surviving are four sons, Bruce (Donna) Shaw of Honor, Glenn (Cindy) Shaw, David (Linda) Shaw and Paul Shaw all of Elkton; eleven grandchildren, Laura, Julie, Michael, Brian, Kami, Ryan, Jeff, Jason, Brad, Christina and Kimberly; three great grandchildren, Noah, Aidan and Mason and her dog, Max.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Don and Carl Richards and four sisters, Blanche Brausseur, Irene Niehaus, Marge Payne and her twin, Doris Marshall.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, November 3, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday and after 10 AM Thursday.
Memorial may be given to Scheurer or the family.
