Doris Ann LaBeau, 68, of Caseville died Monday, September 26, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.

Doris was born March 2, 1948 in Mt. Clemens and she was raised by her late mother Doris and late step-father Charles Thompson. She married Eugene LaBeau on November 26, 1965 in East Detroit. Having had a cottage in Caseville for many years, she retired there in 2007 from Roseville. She was a member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary 3690, the Caro Moose Lodge and formerly the East Detroit Moose. She enjoyed going to the family hunting cabin in Republic and taking care of visitors by making sure everyone was well fed.

She is survived by her husband Eugene; children Jeffrey (Janet) of Florida, Jerry of Chesterfield and Jeanette (Danny) Schwall of Clinton Township; grandchildren Angela, Melanie, Shelby, Jordan, Nathan, Preston and Passion; sister Nancy (Bill) Pascoe of Clinton Township and brother Charles (Susan) Thompson of Macomb; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William Townsend.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, September 29th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating.

Visitation will be 2-8 Wednesday at the funeral home with an Eagles Auxiliary Ritual at 5:00pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
