Doris Schauer

Doris Schauer, age 83, passed away on March 2, 2021 at her home. Doris was born October 19, 1937 in Ithaca, the daughter of the late Russell and Lucille (Schade) Stapleton. She was employed for more than twenty-five years as an elementary school teacher, the majority of those years were with the Millington school district. Doris is survived by two children, Katy Hormel and husband, Ron, and Rusty Schauer and wife, Shannon; three grandchildren, Ethan and Lillian Schauer, and Reyna Hormel; twin sister, Delores Timperley; one brother, Victor Stapleton; and her companion, Darwin Buhl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Cutty" Schauer. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
