Dorothy Alberta Bolzman, age 90, of Sebewaing, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020, at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro.
Dorothy was born February 16, 1930, to Albert and Leota (Kramer) Winter in Sebewaing. She married Curtis Bolzman on August 23, 1952 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She enjoyed working word search puzzles, attending to her flower garden, and will be remembered for sending out cards for every occasion.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Curtis; their four children: Diana (Dale) Sonntag, Nancy (Don) Stecker, Jim (Rhonda) Bolzman and Dennis Bolzman, all of Sebewaing; eight grandchildren: Ryan (Bridget) Sonntag of Midland, Kyle (special friend Vicki) Sonntag of Sebewaing, Sara Stecker of Midland, Amy Stecker of Midland, Lisa Stecker of Saginaw, Bradley (fiancé Megan) Bolzman of Lapeer, Jeffrey (special friend Ashley) Bolzman of Sebewaing, Katie (special friend Adrian) Bolzman of Port Huron; six great grandchildren: Connor and Liam Sonntag, Cullen and Leightyn Sonntag, and Lilly Provast; brothers: Raymond Winter, Ron Winter, Vern Winter, John Winter, Gerald Winter, Loren Winter and Larry Winter; sister, Norma Nusz; and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her great grandson, Easton Sonntag; Brother, Ken Winter; infant sister, Barbara Winter, and sister-in-laws: Eunice (Bolzman Stuart), Maxine Winter, Bootsie Winter, Bonnie Winter, Carol Winter and Elaine Winter.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Bach). Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 12pm. Rev. Thom Garrison will be officiating. Due to Covid-19, masks are encouraged at church. The burial service will be private at the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Bach) or the charity of your choice.
