Dorothy Marie Graf

Dorothy M. Graf, 89, of Pigeon, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.

Dorothy was born November 11, 1933 at home in Oliver Twp to the late August and Eva (Dorsch) Metzger. She graduated from Elkton High School.  She married Georg Graf on February 19, 1955 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church-Berne; he preceded her in death November 19, 1985.

She retired in 1997 from Thumb National Bank in Pigeon as a bookkeeper.  She was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church-Berne and previously was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elkton, and the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary.  Dorothy enjoyed cross stitching, reading and watching Chuck Norris movies.

Dorothy is survived by her children Cathy (John) Clark of Kinde, Karen (Jay) Brewer of Houghton Lake, Kenneth (Kathy) Graf of Tennessee, and Carol Drabek of Sebewaing; grandchildren Brandi, Brandon, Travis, Zachary, Amber, Andrew, Adam, Courtney, Jonathon, and Jared; great-grandchildren Ashton, Lauren, Addlyn, Faith, Kieren, Gwendolyn, Lylah, Isaiah, Olivia, Brian, Ian, Olivia, Emma, Roman, Cadin, Elizabeth, Clayton, Jason, Mackenna, and Alleya.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Harbin and sister Eleanor Dubs.

Funeral services will be at Noon Saturday, September 16th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Neuman officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am and continue until the time of the service.
