Dorothy B. Hill

Dorothy B. Hill of Caro, age 98, passed away on April 5, 2024, at her home. Dorothy was born May 24, 1925, in Ellington, the daughter of the late Lon and Florence (Linton) Royer. She graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1945. Dorothy married the love of her life, Charles W. Hill, on November 7, 1945. Their marriage was blessed with over forty-six years, many cherished trips to Florida, and countless memories. Sadly, Charles preceded Dorothy in death on August 25, 1992. Dorothy retired from the Caro State Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved taking care of her flowers and watching them grow.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Roberta Enos; grandchildren, Shelly (Shawn) Shearer, Nickole (John) Roth-Hubbarth, Kevin (Jennifer Brisbois) Enos; and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Richard Hill; son-in-law, Dennis Enos; and her siblings.

In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
