Dorothy Kelley

Dorothy Mae Kelley, age 86, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Covenant - Cooper in Saginaw. Dorothy was born October 8, 1922 in Wells Township, the daughter of the late Edward & Rena (Lossing) Hobson. She was united in marriage with Leo Emerson Kelley on July 17, 1941 in Caro. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1978. Dorothy attended the Caro Nazarene Church and enjoyed fishing with her husband and spending time with her family. Surviving are two sons, three daughters and their spouses, Edward & Vicky Kelley of Cass City, Robert & Kim Kelley of Lawton, Oklahoma, Donna & Paul Matthews of Cass City, Hazel Kelley and her fiance, David, of Caro, Winifred & Charles Collins of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Sterling Hobson of Centerline, Kenneth Hobson and his wife, Doris, of Taylor, Clifford Hobson and Keith Hobson, both of Yuma, Arizona, Laura Nokes of Reno, Nevada, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Leona Kelley; one son, Ernest Kelley; two grandchildren, Robert E. Matthews and Charleen Jo Collins; one great-grandson, Keegan Carter Nagy; three sisters and one brother, Viola Osgan, Edwina Brookins, Eva Waters and Wilford Hobson.
